We often find that we become accustomed to our surroundings, no matter how absurd they may be. So it is here in Bali. Holes in sidewalks that could swallow up entire human beings. Rats running along the beams of the house in clear view, "Oh look. a Rat. What's for dinner?"
And so, this is what we saw today. Not a particularly unusual sight. One never knows. (Accidents like the following that is particularly challenging because Bali lacks the tow truck power to get this vehicle back on the street, so the men will do it. Amazingly well.)
It reminds me of the words of Margaret Meade:
"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed people can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has."
