Popcorn and a "Fillem"

It wasn’t long ago when Larry and I invited Nuadi, Nyoman, Wayan, and their families over for a fillem (this is what they call a movie here). We brought Planet Earth with us, and the kids sat and watched it. Thrilled to see the elephants and bears (that they loving called, “dogs”) as the polar bear cubs scooted down the snowy hill. No matter where we go, we see such simple living and loving. Children are happy with a single marble, a single coin (worth less than one tenth of a penny), or a stick that doubles as a sword, an arrow, a paintbrush, a third leg.

Loving here is so easy.
