Lazy Sunday

Just wrapping up a wonderfully lazy Sunday, and preparing my psyche for the upcoming week... thinking of all of you and hoping that even though I haven't quite figured out how to get my comments published, etc. that you are enjoying the posts.  I think I may have fixed it, so please try again if you attempted to comment before and were denied.

Last night, my "new best friend" Leela came over for dinner.   I prepared a mixed greens salad, with Bragg's seasoned pumpkin seeds, a quinoa salad and roasted potatoes.  Then, we topped it off with a heart-opening dose of dancing in our living room.  My hunny, sat on the couch and smiled as he watched us bop up and down and be inspired by Michael Franti.  At one point I was laughing out loud and dancing in full-goofus form, and said over the already loud music, "this is our life!"  We all laughed and a wave of gratitude washed over me.

Shaggy's mom said in Nia yesterday, "in this world you believe what you choose to believe"... I choose to believe that my heart can be open open open open, even more fully and more often than than I know.  That is how I choose to inhabit my days.

Wouldn't you like to join me?  What would the world look like if we flip-flopped the time we spend in our hearts and heads?  We'd be laughing spontaneously in the grocery store isles, and shaking our boot-AY much more often.

As Michael Franti says so beautifully... I got love for you.  I got love for you.

Have a great week!
