Just wrapping up a wonderfully lazy Sunday, and preparing my psyche for the upcoming week... thinking of all of you and hoping that even though I haven't quite figured out how to get my comments published, etc. that you are enjoying the posts. I think I may have fixed it, so please try again if you attempted to comment before and were denied.
Last night, my "new best friend" Leela came over for dinner. I prepared a mixed greens salad, with Bragg's seasoned pumpkin seeds, a quinoa salad and roasted potatoes. Then, we topped it off with a heart-opening dose of dancing in our living room. My hunny, sat on the couch and smiled as he watched us bop up and down and be inspired by Michael Franti
. At one point I was laughing out loud and dancing in full-goofus form, and said over the already loud music, "this is our life!" We all laughed and a wave of gratitude washed over me.
Shaggy's mom said in Nia yesterday, "in this world you believe what you choose to believe"... I choose to believe that my heart can be open open open open, even more fully and more often than than I know. That is how I choose to inhabit my days.
Wouldn't you like to join me? What would the world look like if we flip-flopped the time we spend in our hearts and heads? We'd be laughing spontaneously in the grocery store isles, and shaking our boot-AY much more often.
As Michael Franti says so beautifully... I got love for you. I got love for you.
Have a great week!
